FEB. DEALS
WEEK 1:
Didn’t have time to do go shopping because we spent all week getting moved.
WEEK 2:
Got 50 items, spent $55.46 w/tax, saved over $200.00.
I spent a lot this week mainly because I wanted to stock up on diapers (I have one in size 6 and one more on the way) and chicken since we just moved. This total was actually decent considering over $25.00 of it was spent on just diapers and chicken. Here are some of the items I purchased; Dawn hand renewal dish soap, 24 pack Angel Soft Toilet Paper, 6 bags of diapers (4 Huggies & 2 Baby Basics Jumbo Packs), 8 lbs of chicken, 2 lbs of Sargento Cheese Slices, Fancy Feast & Iams cat food, Rhodes Rolls, 20 cans of Bumble Bee Tuna Fish, 4 cans of Olives, Milk, Oranges, Venus Razor, Olay Body Wash, Air Freshener Refills, and popsicles. I did my shopping at Walgreens, Albertsons, and Price Matching at Wal-Mart.
WEEK 3: I got 8 cans of Old Orchard frozen juice (I price matched them at Wal-Mart and used $1/4 coupons) I got a Swiffer Sweeper Starter kit and a 24 ct. Swiffer Sweeper wet cloths w/Febreze pack (needed a mop and broom, w/coupons this deal was cheaper than paying for a cheap mop and broom). Paid $9.44 for all the items listed above. (Not bad considering the Swiffer items because it evens out to around .94 cents per item. Plus I saved my receipt for the $100.00 P&G mail in form since the swiffer products are part of the deal.)
WEEK 4: I got 8 boxes of Betty Crocker Muffin Mix, 1 Box Lucky Charms, 1 Box of Bisquick, 2 Jumbo pack Baby Basic Diapers, 1 Dawn Foam Pump Soap, 2 Stouffer’s Family Skillet Meals, 4 Old Spice Body Wash, 2 Glade Scented Gel Plug-Ins, and 2 Renu Saline Solutions. Spent $19.56 w/tax, Purchased 23 Items, Saved $87.00 (evened out to .85 cents per item)
FEB. MONTHLY TOTAL: Spent $84.46, Saved $343.00, Items 83
(Since Feb. I have participated in the Idaho WIC program so I have not had to buy as much milk, cheese, produce, and eggs as I normally would since I get these items with my WIC checks.)
